Macedonia has an amazing variety and quality of fresh fruits and vegetables which means lots of Vegan and Vegetarian restaurants. Most of the products you find at the farmer's markets or grocery stores are produced within the country. If you are lucky enough to visit Macedonia during spring or summer months you can sample the juiciest cherries, the sweetest grapes and the most aromatic sweet peppers and tomatoes you ever had in your life.
Seriously, it is like an entirely different level. So, eating healthy should not be a problem while you are in Macedonia. Also, being a vegan or vegetarian you will have plenty of vegetarian dishes to choose from in most restaurants. Very close to the apartment (5 minutes by walk), this little place offers juices, shakes, salads and gorgeous raw desserts. Everything is prepared freshly on the spot and everything is vegan of course. The chia pudding is deliciously creamy, made with home made almond milk.

A completely raw food restaurant, for food that is not processed at temperatures above 46 degrees Celsius. The food is prepared by chopping, blending, germination, soaking, marinating or dehydrating.
