HOW TO GET TO THE MILLENNIUM CROSS IN SKOPJE
The Millennium Cross in Skopje is a 66-meter tall cross, built on top Vodno Mountain in 2002 to commemorate 2,000 years of Christianity in Macedonia.
INFO ON HOW TO GET TO THE MILLENNIUM CROSS IN SKOPJE
It is possible to trek all the way up to the Millennium Cross from the city center. However to save time and your breath, you can also take a bus (which is free on the weekends) halfway up the mountain. Once you get off the bus you can start hiking! Or just get on the cable car and enjoy the stunning views after a quick 8-minute journey to the top of Vodno Mountain.
If you are afraid of heights you might want to close your eyes as long as you are on the cable car.
Note: The cable car doesn't work on Mondays

Departure times from Central Bus Station (Транспортен центар): 8:00 - 9:00 - 9:40 - 10:20 - 11:20 - 12:20 - 13:20 - 14:20 - 15:20 - 16:20 - 17:20 - 18:20
Bus #25 stops is in front of the European University (Европски Универзитет). This bus stop is the closest to the apartments. Add about 15 minutes on top of the above mentioned times and that is when the bus gets to European University. See on the map below.
